I am working in set theory and its applications to real analysis, algebra (group theory) and topology. Most of my results deal with combinatorial aspects of sets of reals and with measure and category on the real line. My current work concentrates on the interplay between iterated forcing theory and cardinal invariants of the continuum. I use methods from descriptive set theory, combinatorial set theory, and from the theory of forcing.

I got all my degrees from Tübingen University, Germany. Since 1998 I have been working in the Group of Logic, Statistics & Informatics at Kobe University.
